William "Bud" Nalley

Memorial services for William “Bud” Nalley of Kissee Mills will be Friday June 28, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at the Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.  Bud went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at his home in Kissee Mills, Mo.

Bud was born August 25, 1939, in Searcy AR. to Ruth and Ervin Nalley. Bud grew up in Searcy and attended Searcy AR grade school.

He married his sweetheart Ruth Nalley on Nov.17, 19799.  This year would have been 45 years together.  When he was a young man, Bud worked at the Grey manufacturing as a welder, then went into driving 18 wheelers cross country for Consolidated Freight Ways and man did he have stories from those hauls. Following driving a truck he spent his time driving around and making friends everywhere he went and being the best grandpa, and his favorite title yet papa that anyone could ask for.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth E. Nalley and Ervin Nalley. His first wife Shirley Buesing, siblings, Jean, Christine, Louis, and Brownnie (Winnie). Children, Richard Nalley, Donald Nalley, and James (Jim) Haney.

Bud is survived by his loving wife Ruth, sister Peggy Loftis; two daughters Hope Green and Patty Roberts, four sons Kevin Haney, Bill Nalley, Raymond Nalley, and Barry Nalley, and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 28, from 10:00 A.M. till service time. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo, 65653.
