William Robert Myers, Jr.

In loving memory of William Robert Myers, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grand father.

Bill passed away on January 8, in the year of our Lord 2020, at his residence with his family at his side. He was born on October 22, 1941 in Boone, Iowa, son of William Robert Myers Sr. and Hazel Margaret (Williams) Myers.

He is survived by his wife Rosalie of the home; daughters, Dawn Osborn and husband Adam of Kimberling City, MO., Kelly Ramsey and husband Jimmie of Fort Madison, IA., Kimberly Bratcher and husband Rick of Ames, IA., and son, Clyde Edgington and wife Melissa of Hamburg, IA.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Paul Myers, Mike Myers, Margaret Nonnweiler, Cindy Pagan, Judy Nickerson, James Myers, Faye Bauer, and Mary Smelser.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; 1first wife, Joyce; daughter, Robin Clancy; son, John Robert Myers; grandson, Kenneth Clancy Jr.; and sister, Patsy Harding.  

Bill moved to Taney County in 1984 from Boone, Iowa, where he was a member of the local Salvation Army church.  From 1984 until 1991 he was a construction worker building homes in Taney County.  Bill also worked for Forsyth Automotive from 1991 until 2018 when his health started failing.

Visitation will be Monday January 13, 2020 at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home starting at Noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM.
