Walter Thomas Freeman passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at his home in Crocker, Missouri with his family by his side. Born August 19,1953, in Lancaster, Ohio to Walter Freeman Jr. and Betty Jean (Mann) Freeman. Walter embarked on a life journey that would be marked by love and resilience.
Walter married the love of his life Vivian Jo Curtis on June 2, 1978 at Ft. Collins Colorado. To this union, they were blessed with two children, Heath and Jessica. Walter and Vivian celebrated forty-seven years together this past summer.
Walter enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing and hunting along with riding motorcycles and Horses. He loved to pass on his passion for the outdoors to his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Freeman Jr. and Betty Jean (Mann) Freeman, brother Jim Holmes, and sister Norma Hill.
Walter is survived by his loving wife Vivian Jo Freeman, Crocker Mo., son Walter Heath Freeman, Crocker, Mo., daughter Jessica Jo Jewell, (Stephen), Ozark, Mo.,
Two grandchildren, Landry Walter and Ellianna Jo, and a brother Bob Freeman (Colleen), Thayer, Mo.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM, Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel. Burial will follow at the Rosedale Valley Memorial Gardens Nixa, Mo. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9-10AM at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Missouri.
