Virginia Ruth Clayton, 96, of Forsyth, Missouri went to be with her Lord on April 8, 2025. She was born to Herschel and Alma (Roberts) Gott, March 14, 1929, at Cross Roads, Missouri.
She graduated from Ava High School and married the love of her life, Clifford Clayton shortly after. Virginia was a home maker, who took great pride in her Home. She loved to have family and friends visit her. Virginia was active in her community, with Glenda Day they founded the Bradleyville Fire Department. Whenever Virginia had free time, she enjoyed going out with the ladies for coffee and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her lovely husband Clifford Clayton; parents, Herschel and Alma (Roberts) Gott; and one sister, Majorie Gott Hodges.
Virginia is survived by her niece Deanna (Hodges) Badovinatz husband Vic, many other nieces, nephews; and numerous family and friends.
A private burial will be at New Blair Cemetery, Bradleyville, Missouri at a later date.
