Vernon Brooks Berryman was born July 13, 1951, in Montgomery, Maryland to Dewey and Lois (Brooks) Berryman. He went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2025, from Forsyth, Mo. at the age of 73 years.
Services will be held at the Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, 16560 US Hwy 76, Forsyth, Mo. Pastor Shetha Coffelt will officiate. Internment will be held at a later date.
Vernon served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He moved to Forsyth, Mo. from San Diego, Cal., to be with his family.
Vernon was a family man who loved having family around him all the time. In his spare time, he was an avid stamp collector.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents Dewy and Lois (Brooks) Berryman, his wife Cheri Berryman and one son Richard Berryman.
Vernon is survived by two sons Mickey Bravis and Jason Wear, five daughters, Catrina Richards, Caterra Chambers, Catrisha Berryman, Cayla Berryman, and Lisa Weit, one brother Bob Berryman, two sisters Casandra Berryman, Jovina Berryman and nineteen grandchildren.
