Tressie Mae Hill, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Brookline, Mo. on June 25, 2026. She was born on November 7, 1933, in Omaha, Ar. to James Tate and Anzie (Simkins) Tate. Tressie attended Omaha High School in Omaha, Ar. and later attended OTC College in Springfield, Mo.
Tressie worked in the medical field as an LPN nurse at hospitals as well as being a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the guitar, listing to gospel music, going to her church, Ozark Full Gospel Church in Ozark, Mo. She also enjoyed crocheting and being with her family.
Tressie was preceded in death by her husband Rolland Mapels, her parents, her son Randy Lugenbell, and her daughter Marsha Goodsell.
Tressie is survived by her son Larry Lugenbell, of Brookline, Mo, and daughter Sheyla Nunn, Hollister, Mo., fifteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
