Susan Griffin Griffin

Susan Griffin, 74, of Bolivar, MO 

Susan passed away with her family by her side on June 22, 2021, at her home in Bolivar, MO.  She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Loyd and Aileen (Heflin) Dever on April 2, 1947.

Susan was a wonderful person. She was always thinking of others more than herself and was an amazing mother and grandmother. She moved to Bolivar 12 years ago, to be closer to family.  There she met the love of her life, Ted Montgomery (a Cinderella story come true). She will be missed by all that knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Griffin; two sisters, Della White and Lucy Wade.   

She is survived by significant other and care giver, Ted Montgomery; daughter, Tammy Griffin, and 3 grandchildren; sisters, Barbara White of Selmer, Tennessee, Rose Baker of Bolivar, Missouri, Lorene English of Ash Flat, Arkansas; and a brother Joe Dever of Harrisburg, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
