Graveside services for Sunday R. Tate 46, Rockaway Beach will be held Sunday July 19, 2026, 5PM at the Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth, Mo. Pastor Austin Sutton will officiate. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.
Sunday Raye Tate was born July 18, 1979, in Aurora, Mo. to Billy and Sharon Shockey Tate. The family moved to Taney County while Sunday was a young child. She graduated from Bradleyville High School. Sunday was an assistant to a handicapped girl for a time and then worked as a manager and hostess for several restaurants in the area
She enjoyed doing crafts, being outdoors, kayaking, sitting by the water, fishing, and having her family around all the time.
Sunday is survived by Pat Moore of Taneyville, her parents Billy Tate and Sharon Tate, her children, Belle Cardwell (Hunter) Taneyville, Mo., Patterson Moore of Rogersville, Mo., Aaron Benson of Germany, her stepson Andrew Moore of Diamond City, Ark., brothers Phillip Smith of Rockaway Beach, Mo., Billy Evans of Galena, Mo., and two grandchildren Oakland and Conner.
