Sammie L. Croft, 90, Forsyth entered into rest on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at his home with family surrounding him. There are no services currently. Cremation was under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.
Sammie was born February 12, 1934, Forsyth, Mo. He was the son of Almon and Willie Marie (Gideon) Croft. He was a lifelong resident of Taney County and had attended the Hilltop School in Forsyth as a young man.
Sam married the love of his life Roxie Hall on Nov. 12, 1961, at Ozark, Missouri. They had celebrated sixty-two years together last winter. Sam & Roxie were blessed with two sons.
Sam is well known in the area as a heavy equipment operator and helping people. His joys in life were being with his family, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and the greatest joy was racing cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Sam is survived by his loving wife Roxie Croft of the home, two sons John Croft (Kathy), Lee Croft (Shawna) all of Forsyth, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
