Ruth Ridinger

Funeral Service for Ruthy Ray Chapman Ridinger 95, Protem, Missouri will be held Tuesday April 23, 2024, 2 PM at the Protem Community Church. Pastor Ed Hunsacker and Pastor Rob Quillian will officiate. Burial will follow at the Wolf Cemetery, Protem.  Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the church. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth Mo.

Ruth was born in Protem and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of Richard L. Chapman, Sr. and Oma Mae Susan (Harper) Chapman. Ruth married the love of her life on May 27, 1953, at Harrison Arkansas, Roland Ridinger. They had celebrated 71 years together. Roland and Ruth were blessed with two children.

Ruth worked at Hagel Garment Factory as a seamstress and worked at the Lakeview Nursing Home as a CNP and was a housekeeper for a private family. Ruth loved gardening and enjoyed cooking things from vegetables in her garden that she had grown as well as making other delicious dishes.

Ruth was an excellent seamstress-quilter-crocheter and embroider.  She also went coon hunting with her husband.

She was proceeded in death by one son Jerry Glenn Ridinger her parents, and three sisters Letha Jones, Martha Fay Goodsell and her twin Ruby May Denton.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband Roland Ridinger, one daughter Margaret Ridinger and numerous family and friends.
