Rosemary Ford Thompson, 84, of Branson, MO.
Rosemary passed away on June 25, 2019 at her residence. She was born November 28, 1934 in Kansa City, KS., the daughter of Christopher Lopez and Timothy Torres Lopez.
Rosemary volunteered at the Branson Hospital for 30 years, and in 2017, she received a LifeTime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama for a Lifelong Commitment to Volunteer Service. She also enjoyed quilting at the Branson Senior Center for many years.
Rosemary married John Thompson Feb. 9, 2019.
Survivors include her husband John Thompson of Branson, MO.; daughters, Diane Thomas of Kansas City, MO., Sarah Gentry of St. Louis, MO., and Nanette Clair Thompson of Branson, MO. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Ford.
Graveside services will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Branson, MO., on Monday July 1 at 2:00 PM.
Services have been entrusted to Whelchel Grace Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
