Rose (Dever) Baker

Rose Baker, 63, of Bolivar, Missouri.

On April 2, 2022, Rose moved from this life at her home in Bolivar, to start anew with the family that has been waiting for her, with her family by her side.

She was born June 25, 1958, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of Loyd and Aileen (Heflin) Dever.

Rose was a wonderful person. Always thinking of others more than herself. An amazing mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She worked as a nurse for over 25 years at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, MO.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Baker; daughter Carolyn Appleberry; sisters Jaynie White, Lucy Wade, Susan Griffin

She is survived by her children, John Dever of Bolivar, MO., Danny Baker and Michael Baker both of Springfield, MO.; sisters Barbara White of Selmer, TN., Lorene English of Ash Flat, AR.; and brother Joe Dever of Harrisburg, AR.; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
