Roger Dale Lang was born May 27, 1965, in Slaton, Texas. He was the son of Milton L. and Rosie M. (Lankford) Lang. Roger went to be with his Lord on January 2, 2025 in Blue Eye, Mo., at the age of 59 years.
Roger lived in Kansas before coming to Missouri. He attended the Moscow Baptist Church in Moscow, Kansas for many years before moving to Missouri.
Roger worked as an asphalt roller operator building roads and highways. He moved to the southwest Missouri area to enjoy Table Rock Lake. Whether it be kayaking, fishing, boating or anything else he was involved with water. Roger helped friends with their computers, setting up programs and keeping computers going. He is remembered by family and friends as having a green thumb. He enjoyed the outdoors in his flower garden raising flowers and anything that might bloom.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog Blossom.
Roger is survived by two brothers, Milton (Jerry) Lang of Glenwood, Ark.; William (Jim) Lang of Kersey, Colorado; two sisters, Shawna Pipher of Crawford, Colorado; Gloria Harris of Longmont, Colorado, and extended family Gary, Birdie and Jimmy of Blue Eye, Mo. He will also be missed by numerous family and friends.
Cremation was under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo. Service will be at a later date.
