Robert Dean Wilburn, 90, of Forsyth, Missouri passed away November 11, 2025. He was born to Millard and Ollie Marie (Jones) Wilburn, April 5, 1935, in Green County, Ohio.
Robert traveled the United States when he was employed by the United States Government in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He retired from the government as a Captain. Ater retirement he moved to Forsyth, Missouri from Las Vegas, Nevada. While living in the Ozarks and near the many lakes, he enjoyed fishing and would go whenever he could. Robert was creative with his hands doing woodworking and making many items.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Darlene, son Scott Wilburn and brother Wayne Wilburn.
Robert is survived by his son Dean Wilburn and daughter Darla Kelly both of Forsyth, MO, one sister Kay Stockman of Chillicothe, OH, five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 2:00PM at Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth, Missouri.
Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Missouri.
