Ricky Dean Wiedmaier

Rick Wiedmaier, 62, of Kirbyville.

Ricky Dean Wiedmaier, born in Cameron, Missouri on January 16, 1960, son of Calvin Lee and Betty Lou (Bartee), passed peacefully on June 30, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. 

Rick leaves behind two sons, Nick and Vern; the “love of his life” Meta; his grandchildren Avery, Hunter, Luke and Lucy; his extended family Desiree, Liz and Little Kevin; his daughters-in-law and love, Ashley and Trista and his siblings Judy, Linda, Cheryl, Debbie, Calvin, Marcus, Randy and Pam.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Cindy; and brother Craig.

Rick was a hardworking general construction contractor, well-known for his honesty and quality work.  More importantly, he was a dedicated family man, proudly bragging on his “boys” and always in awe of his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his skills, his loyalty, his unique sense of humor and his big, bright smile.  A private “farewell party” and celebration of life will be held in his honor.
