Rhoda Jane (Brooks) Hiatt, 74, of Cedar Creek, Missouri went on to be with the Lord on February 19th, 2025. She was born to Lloyd and Anna (Eckelbarger) Brooks in Peru, Indiana on August 25th, 1950. Rhoda married the love of her life Dale Hiatt on February 19, 1983, in South Haven, Michigan.
She graduated from Saugatuck High School in Saugatuck, Michigan. Rhoda and Dale resided in Fennville, Michigan before coming to the Ozarks. She worked for Hagale garment factory in Forsyth for many years before taking a position as Deputy City Clerk for the City of Hollister. She enjoyed going to car shows and gardening more flowers than vegetables. Rhoda and Dale did a lot of traveling and visiting the lower 48 states.
Rhoda leaves behind her beloved husband Dale Hiatt of Ceder Creek; one son Jeremy Hiatt (Tracy) of South Haven, MI; four daughters, Nancy Jorgenson of Allegan, MI, Janet Hunt (LeRoy) of Irons, MI, Linda Johnson of Cedar Creek, MO, Dale Demary (Royce) of Fennville, MI; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren, among other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Anna Brooks; one daughter Jennifer Williams; and one brother Mike Villacanna.
Services were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel in Forsyth, Missouri.
