Patrick M Pearman, 77, passed peacefully at home with his family surrounding him in Forsyth Missouri on Sunday March 1, 2026. He was born Melvin Clyde Stroud, Jr on October 4, 1948, in Bentonville, Arkansas to Melvin Stroud Sr and Margaret (née Smith). He chose to change his name to Patrick Marshall Pearman as a teen in El Paso, Texas where he attended Andress High School.
Pat was a lifelong professional semi-truck driver having driven for Allied Van Lines and Safeway grocers. He was a proud Teamster member. Outside of his family his passion was fishing and loved to take his RV and boat on tour whenever possible. He moved to Taney County Missouri full-time in 1990, having still maintained many of his friendships during his working career to the end. He had such a sense of humor that any conversation would leave you laughing. He was a man of extreme integrity and work ethic, and the rock of our family. For years he served his local volunteer emergency rescue assisting first responders with location of residences and flight lifts out of the area.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Melvin Stroud, Harry Pearman and Margaret True.
Pat is survived by his spouse Sharyl Holland of the home, his children; Geneva Pearman of Lakewood, Co., Nicola Pearman of Forsyth, Mo., Amanda (Dennis) Stuart of Taneyville, Mo., MaryBeth (Jordon) Williams of Mountain Grove, Mo., and Jeremy Carter of Little Rock, Ar. Eight grandchildren; Bryanna (David) Callahan of Nevada, Mo., Joshua Koch of Arvada, Co., Sabra (Levi) Pollard of Kirbyville, Mo., Sebastian Stuart of Taneyville, Mo., and Preston, Tayler, Jamison and Jasper Williams of Mountain Grove, Mo. Six great grandchildren; Rilynn and Rowynn Callahan, Dennis and Franklin Koch, Remi and Nova Pollard. Survived also by his siblings, Julie (James) Stearman, Lynnette Reynolds, Gary (Tina) Pearman, Sheryl (Paul) Stirewalt, Beth (Del) Campbell, Clay Pearman (Steve Hatfield) and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed and sorely grieved.
Funeral service will be Friday, Mar. 6, 2026, 2PM at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, with Pastor Robert Dalton officiating. Burial will follow at the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson. Visitation will be held Thursday Mar. 5 from 6-7 PM at the Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel.
