Norma K. Lauderdale

Graveside service for Norma Kathryn Lauderdale, 85, Forsyth, will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, at 11 am at Patterson Cemetery, Bradleyville, MO. Pastor Juston Gates officiating. Norma passed away in Springfield MO. April 24, 2024. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel.

Norma was born March 30, 1939, at Goose Creek, Texas. She was the daughter of Algae and Nellie (Pickering) Padgett. Norma married the love of her life, William Lauderdale on June 6, 1959, in Baytown Texas. They had celebrated 65 years together. William and Norma were blessed with three children.

Norma received her Bachelor Degree from the University of Missouri, her Masters from University of Texas, Permian Basin. Norma taught Spanish in both high school, and college.

Norma was a loving wife to her husband, and a devoted mother to her children. She attended First Baptist Church in Forsyth, Missouri

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Marilyn Critzer.

Norma is survived by her loving husband William Lauderdale of the home, three sons Paul, Grant and Lance, one brother Don Padgett, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
