Muriel G. Nolin, 84 of Forsyth went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024, at her home in Forsyth. Muriel was born July 9, 1939, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of Anthony & Rose (Arsenault) LeBlanc. She married Edward D. Nolin, Jr. in May of 1959 and was blessed with five children. After traveling for many years as a military family, Muriel and her husband moved to the Forsyth area in 2005 to enjoy their retirement and be closer to family.
In her later years, Muriel enjoyed watching game shows and working crossword puzzles. She attended Forsyth Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her daughter Penny Nolin.
Muriel is survived by her two sons, Wayne Nolin of Chester, Virg.; Mark Nolin of Forsyth, Mo., and two daughters Donna Bassett of Rockaway Beach, Mo., and Bonnie Greene (Robert) of Chesterfield, Virg., fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service for Muriel will be held Saturday May 4, 2024, at 1:30 PM at the Forsyth Christian Church in Forsyth. Pastor Chris McCullison will officiate. A private entombment will be held Friday, May 3rd at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, Mo.
