Mildred Lucille (Cobb) Merideth was born November 14, 1927, at Mildred, Missouri, the only daughter of Jesse Logan “Jess” and Ruth Ellen Mae (Brown) (Call) Cobb. Her Paternal grandparents were Charles Henry (Charley) and Laura Camille (Jones) Cobb, who were pioneers from Calloway County, Kentucky. Her Maternal grandparents were Frances Marion and Nancy Jane (Marcrum) Brown.
On October 8, 1943, she married William Glen Merideth at the home of Reverend Lewis Cornett, in Cedar Creek, Missouri. Their marriage lasted for 73 years.
She is preceded in death by Glen on November 27, 2016; her parents; and brothers Hurshel, Willard, and Robert.
Mildred is survived by daughter Dorothy Marie (Peggy) and Husband Doyle Turner of Bolivar, Missouri; son Glen Dale and wife Judy Merideth of Berryville, Arkansas; granddaughters Regina Ann and husband Mike Gooley of Bolivar, Missouri, Crystal Lea and husband Wesley Gladden of Centerton, Arkansas; great-granddaughter Chloe Gladden of Centerton, Arkansas; great-grandsons Dawson and wife Haley Jo Gladden of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Michael and wife Leah Gooley of Bolivar, Missouri, Christopher and wife Grace Gooley of Battlefield, Missouri, Jacob and wife Anna Marie Gooley of Bolivar, Missouri; great-great-granddaughter Hadleigh Gooley; great-great grandsons Andrew and Lucas Gooley; and many other family and friends.
