Michael D. Price

Michael D. Price, 73, Forsyth, celebration of life service will be held Friday, July 12, 2024, at 6 PM at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth with David Mickelson officiating. He entered into rest on Sunday, June 30, 2024, in Forsyth.

Michael was born on August 2, 1950, in Muscatine, Iowa to Ralph and Beverly (Blythe) Price. He graduated from Muscatine High School and attended the University of Iowa. After attending college, he returned home to Muscatine, where he owned and operated a carpet business. He was blessed with one daughter. Michael married the love of his life Linda Martin on November 5, 1988, in Muscatine, Iowa.  They had celebrated thirty-five years together this past winter.

He continued working in the flooring industry before he and his wife decided to retire to the Ozarks. Michael enjoyed watching and supporting Iowa basketball and football. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog Alphie.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Beverly (Blythe) Price, and one sister Susan Oakes.

Michael leaves behind his loving wife Linda Price of Forsyth, Mo., his daughter Heather Robinson of Ames, Iowa, as well as three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-6 PM on Friday July 12, 2024, at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.

Burial will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine, Iowa at a later date.
