Michael M. Henggeler, 77, passed away on March 30, 2022, in Hollister, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents Else and Louis Henggeler; his sister Arlene; and brother Larry.
Mick is survived by his sister Judy; sons Mike and Warren; and best friend Pat.
Mick was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where he graduated from South High School. He was an over-the-road truck driver. He always enjoyed meeting new people wherever his trips took him, coast to coast; and he always had stories to tell when he returned home.
He loved NASCAR races, but his true passion was fishing—day or night, hot or freezing didn’t matter. He and the boys would go out fishing—laugh, have fun, and bring in their catch. He enjoyed cleaning and filleting his fish and would do anyone else’s. Then they would all go to the boathouse and tell fish tales. He also had fun with his tomato garden, always going for the biggest, the best, and the most, sharing with his friends.
He will be missed by many.
