Maurice Duane Minor

Maurice Duane Minor, 74, of Rockaway Beach, was called home by the angels Thursday November 14, 2019 at Cox Medical Center South.

Maurice was born April 17, 1945 in Hannibal, MO, the son of James Anderson and Eleanor Ketzler Minor, who have preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn D. Taylor of the home; brother Dan Minor and wife Diana; daughter Tammy Taylor; sons Marvin and Mark Taylor; 2 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

Prior to becoming an electrician working on circuit board construction, Maurice proudly served his country as a cook with the United States Navy.  He was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Beacon of Hope Church in Rockaway Beach.

The family is hosting a Memorial Service Sunday November 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., at the Beacon of Hope Church.  Pastor Randy Depew will officiate.
