Mary Rose Wolf

At the request of Mary’s family, we were asked to hold her Celebration of Life, as her husband Garland and the Forsyth Library were her life.

 On Tuesday morning, April 5th,2026, our dear friend, Mary Wolf went to be with our Lord. Mary was one of the six women who established the friends of the Forsyth Library in 1969. Mary left behind a legacy to the Community of Forsyth. For 57 years, Mary has been a constant presence at the library and thrift store. She has held several board positions, worked at the library and thrift store (the Mark Down) and was our biggest champion.

We will hold a Celebration of Life for Mary, Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Forsyth Library from noon to 3PM. We will share stories and photos. There will be refreshments. This will be a come and go event.
