Marjorie Jean Horner, 92, of Bradleyville Missouri, went to be with the Lord while in her home on Monday, December 24, 2019.
Marjorie was born February 23, 1927, to Delbert and Gladys Case in Garrison, Missouri. She was a member of the Chadwick High School graduating class of 1945. Marjorie and Bert Horner of Bradleyville were united in marriage in 1946, shortly after his return from the Navy. The couple shared 66 years of marriage together. They had two children, Donald Eugene Horner of Forsyth, Missouri and Rita Darlene Horner of Bradleyville, Missouri.
In addition to being a homemaker, she and Bert owned and operated Horner Charcoal for 32 years. She was an active member in her local church and enjoyed helping friends and neighbors in the community. One of her greatest loves was spending time with her family.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Don Horner and wife Judy of Forsyth, Missouri; her daughter, Rita Horner of Bradleyville, Missouri; four grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Exie Case and wife Jessie of Taneyville, Missouri and sister, Cletis Shortt and husband Noel of Taneyville, Missouri.
