Leon Gideon

On January 5, 2023, Leon Gideon left this world to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born April 22, 1938, to Theron and Cora Gideon.

He met his wife Maudie Lee Gideon and they married January 8, 1961. Leon worked for Royal Oak over 35 years climbing the ladder from the bottom to eventually become the Vice President of operations.

Leon was a dedicated and humble worker both at Royal Oak and on his farm, which he purchased at 18 years old. Farming had become his favorite pastime when not traveling the country with his favorite gal, Maudie.

Preceded in death are his parents, wife, and 2 sisters Susie Correll and Margaret Gideon.

Leon is survived by his sister Mary Smithson, Son Mark (Lisa) Gideon, Daughter Lori (Todd) Roberts; Grandchildren Mark Theron (Trish) Gideon, Amanda (Dustin) Coffelt, and Tanner Roberts; Great-Grandchildren Theron, Anna, and Vivian Gideon, Hattie, Cora, and Lynnie Coffelt; plus, a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
