Laurence "Larry" Ross Bridges

Laurence Ross Bridges “Larry”, 76, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away peacefully at Branson Cox Hospital on September 3, 2025. He was born February 5, 1949, at St. Joseph, Missouri to Steve and Inez Bridges. Larry married Anna David on April 26,2008 in Springfield, Missouri. They celebrated seventeen years together this past spring. 

Larry taught music at Missouri State University, (formally Southwest Missouri State University) in Springfield, Missouri. He was an accomplished musician, playing five wind instruments, the flute, baritone sacs and others. Larry played with Springfield Symphony; he also gave private lessons. 

Laurence was preceded in death by his parents Steve and Inez Bridges. 

Services are planned for a later date, burial will be in the Kissee Mills Cemetery, Kissee Mills Missouri. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Missouri.
