Kenneth Wyatt, 91, passed away on August 15, 2022, at home on his farm in Taneyville, Mo. He was born December 7, 1930, to Alec and Hettie Wyatt.
Kenneth grew up on a farm by the river in Kissee Mills, Mo. Some of his fondest memories were on that farm on the back of a horse working cattle and tending to the land he loved. Kenneth traveled for work as a cement mason; during this time, he met his beautiful wife, Betty Hodges; in Kansas City, Mo. They fell in love, and he moved her to Taney County to build a life and start a family. Kenneth was a good and honorable man who brought his children up to know the worth of a man's word and the value of hard work. You could usually find him out in his barn or working around the farm. He was a humble man of few words, but when he spoke his words were powerful and wise. He was a good friend, a loving husband, and a caring father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alec and Hettie Wyatt; his wife, Betty Wyatt; his brother, Carl Wyatt; and his great-grandson, Fred Wyatt.
His legacy and wisdom will live on in the hearts and minds of his sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
