Kathie Demaray

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 5PM in the New Beginnings Pentecostal Church, Taneyville for Kathie Demaray, 71, of Taneyville.  She entered into rest on October 9, 2023 at Cox Medical Center Branson after a long illness.  Cremation services were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, MO.

Kathie Demaray was born March 5, 1952 in Gladwin, MI.  She was the daughter of Ray and Ilace (Small) Demaray.  Kathie attended Gladwin School system.  She was blessed with five children whom she loved dearly.

Kathie attended the New Beginnings Pentecostal Church in Taneyville.  She showed her love for the Lord and others by donating her time to the church by cleaning the church, setting up for weddings, funerals and celebrations when conducted at the church.

Kathie enjoyed swinging in her swing outside in the pleasant weather.  She had a flower and vegetable garden, canning what she grew.  Kathie would make wonderful meals with these nutritious foods and admire her flowers.  She also enjoyed reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Kathie is survived by her five children, Robert Esiline of Taneyville, Christopher Esiline of Big Rapids, MI, Harold Derr III of Bradleyville, Jon Derr of Forsyth and Denise Kovacik of Forsyth; a brother Raymond Demaray of Taneyville; three sisters Jeannie Bailey of Taneyville, Mary Beth Duffy of New Mexico, Sally Ann Demaray-Hull of Montana; nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.  She will also be missed by numerous family and friends.
