Joe Horner, 86, Bradleyville, MO

Joe Horner passed away at Forsyth, MO., December 1, 2018. He was born July 23, 1932,  in Bradleyville, MO., son of Albert and Martha Horner.

He was a longtime resident of Bradleyville, MO., and was a member of the General Baptist Church of Bradleyville. Joe was a Korean War Veteran, having served in the Army. He was a maintenance man for Springfield School District for over 20 yrs. Joe and Nadine celebrated 67 years of marriage on November 6.

Survivors include his wife, Ida “Nadine” Horner of Bradleyville, MO., sons; Rick Horner and wife Judi, of Bradleyville, MO., Randy Horner of Kelso, WA., Jack Horner, and Kelly Horner both of Bradleyville, MO.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Ted Horner of Forsyth, MO.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ray Horner, Bert Horner,  Tom Horner, Chauncy Paul, and Norma Combs.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 4, from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. Burial will be at Martin – Horner Cemetery.

Funeral Services will be held at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home on Wed., Dec. 5, at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Martin – Horner Cemetery.
