Jerry King Keeny, 77, of Merriam Woods, MO.
Jerry passed away April 1, 2020 at Cox Hospital Branson. He was born January 25, 1943 in Eldorado Springs, MO., the son of Earl and Junetta Mixer Keeny. He married Yvonne Gideon on July 1, 1994.
Jerry was a Certified Financial Planner and Insurance Consultant for many years. He started his work career at the age of 16 at the Mission State Bank in Mission, Kan. Jerry was a devout Christian and long-time member of Countryside Christian Church in Mission, where he spoke often. Jerry was also a veteran of the Viet Nam war.
He is survived by his wife; daughter Kimberly Keeny; grandsons Jeremy and Andy Gonterman; niece Susan Keeny; stepchildren Darla Loftis, Betty Ousley, Roy Johnson II, and Stephen Johnson; and their 13 children and 25 grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bob and Jack Keeny; and daughter, Kristen Gonterman.
Inurnment will take place in the near future at the Eldorado City Cemetery in Eldorado Springs, MO., with full military honors.
Cremation rites were afforded by Whelchel Grace Funeral Home of Forsyth, MO.
