Jerrell Bruce Graves, 68, of Forsyth.
Bruce passed away Monday June 28, 2021, at Cox Hospital Branson. He was born July 21, 1952, in Dexter MO., the son of Lawrence Earl Graves Sr., and Ella Kathryn Provance.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother Paul “Aaron” Graves.
Bruce is survived by his brothers Lawrence Graves and wife Linda of Malden, MO., and Morris Graves and wife Barbara of Forsyth; sisters Rebecca Terrill and husband Tom of Elkins, AR., Myra Stauffer of Branson, MO., and Lisa Graves of Forsyth, MO.; daughters, Megan Graves and Brittany Graves and partner John Hale; and granddaughter Baileigh Graves all of Forsyth, MO.
Bruce was an Army veteran, having served overseas during the Vietnam war in a Military Police Battalion. Bruce retired from the state prison in Boonville, MO., as Guard Captain after 23 years. His favorite hobby was spelunking, he also loved deep sea diving and he was the best Dad/Pop/Paw Paw to his girls.
Visitation will be Friday July 2, 2021, at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home starting at 1:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow at Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth. With full military honors.
