James Day, 76, Bradleyville, passed away Dec. 30, 2023, at Bradleyville. A private burial will be held later in the Day/Birdsong Cemetery, Bradleyville. Services and cremation under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Chapel, Forsyth.
James Day was born June 25, 1947, in Gainesville, Mo. to Earl & Johnnie (Stafford) Day. He graduated from Bradleyville High School, Bradleyville, Mo. He married Glenda Birdsong who preceded him in death. James’s occupation was in heavy construction when he change from this he owned and operated a convenience and gas station “Jim’s 1 Stop” in Bradleyville, and worked for Southern Construction on the power line.
He enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing and time in the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Glenda Day.
James is survived by three brothers Jerry Day & Phillip Day both Bradleyville; Terry Day of Taneyville, Mo.; step-son Scott Puckett of Forsyth, two step-daughters LaDonna and Vicky Rogers, and numerous family and friends.
