James Richard Chism, Sr.

James Richard Chism Sr, 66, of Protem, Missouri went on to be with the Lord on February 23, 2025. He was born on October 25, 1958, to John and Marion (Schaeffer) Chism, in Morton, Pennsylvania.  James graduated from Milton High School in Milton, Pennsylvania.  He served in the Navy and was proud of his service. James resided in South Carolina before coming to the Ozarks to enjoy its’ natural beauty.  

James leaves behind his wife Tammy Chism and two sons James Richard Chism Jr and Elijah Goldsmith.  

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Marion Chism.  

Cremation was under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel in Forsyth, Missouri. The interment will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia at a later date.
