A celebration of life will be held for Jack C. Cole 70, of Kirbyville, Mo. on Oct. 28th, 2023 at 2 PM, at Kissee Mills Fire Department 21060 US Hwy 160. Jack was born on Oct. 28, 1952, and entered into eternal rest on Oct. 17, 2023, at his home. Cremation under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel.
Jackie Calvin Cole was born in Bentonville Arkansas to Jimmy Ray and Francis (Madsen) Cole. Jack attended high school in Junction City, Arkansas and later moved to Taney County where he was a longtime resident. Jack was a rural mail carrier in Branson, MO where he met his wife, Cheryl. They were married on Feb. 25th, 1996 in Forsyth, Mo. They celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary this past winter.
Jack had been a rural mail carrier for over 30 years before retiring in 2020. His hobbies included gardening, hunting, and fishing, and his love was working on antique cars of all kinds. You could often find Jack out in his garden on a summer afternoon harvesting his cayenne peppers and tomatoes. Jack had a special place in his heart for all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, taking great joy in holding them as babies.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Jimmy and Francis (Madsen)Cole.
Jack is survived by his wife Cheryl (Brown) Cole of the home, Two sisters Susan Hill and husband Steve of Siloam Springs, Ark, and Marcia Cole-Yocum and husband Bill of Scottsdale, AZ. Five children Jack Cole Jr. and wife Michelle of Kissee Mills MO, Jarrett Cole of Cedar Creek MO, Rebecca Harney and husband Doug of Somerset KY, Justin Cole and wife Tara of Junction City, Ark., Chelsea Seay and husband Matthew of Sparta Mo. Twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Jack will be missed greatly by numerous family and friends.
