Gwendola Minnie Cornett

Gwendola Minnie Cornett, 89, of Forsyth and formerly of Cedar Creek and Springfield, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 while residing at the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center. 

Minnie was born May 16, 1931 in Cedar Creek, to Henry Lewis and Minnie Pearl (Parrish) Cornett. 

She worked for many years as a supervisor with the Lily-Tulip Cup Corporation in Springfield.  After that time, Minnie returned to Cedar Creek, living with her brother Vance.  Gwendola also enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking for her family.

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, most recently Vance, who died in December 2018.
