Gilbert Davis, 70, of Kissee Mills, Mo.

Gilbert Davis passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Cox Medical Center, Branson.  He was born July 21, 1948 in Sacramento, CA., son of Joseph E. and Vertie Iona (Persinger) Davis.  Gilbert was an Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a longtime resident of Taney County. He did carpentry work locally for many years.

Survivors include children, Melissa Braden, Jamie Davis and wife Jade, Mary Eakin and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Sianna Braden, Cheston Braden, Evan Rogers, Hunter Rogers, Sage Rogers, Rebecca Eakin, Tyler Eakin, Jacob Eakin; Siblings, Anita Anderson, Daisy Jean Davidson, Ronald Davis, Joe Davis, Gary Davis, Diana Tilley, Doris Wood, Elmer Davis, and Linda Morey.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Davis; sister, Evelyn Tyndall; and brother, Clifford Davis.

Graveside service will be at Brown Cemetery at Cedar Creek, on Friday, January 18, at 1:00 PM.
