Gary Leffler

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Gary Wayne Leffler of Merriam Woods. He passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of August 2nd, 2022. He was 80 years old at the time of death. He was born in Cedar Co. Nov.8th, 1941. He was the oldest son of Ruby Dean Leffler and Gwendolyn Leffler. He served in the Navy in the 60's.  He had 2 daughters from a previous marriage. Their names are Gloria and Laura. He met Sharon after the navy and she had 2 sons Marty and Rick Hedgepath, which he helped raise as his own. They later had a daughter named Stefanie and moved to Merriam Woods where he lived for over 45 years. He absolutely loved drag racing and had his Camero that he raced just about every weekend.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his youngest brother Mike. He is survived by His wife Sharon , 5  children, and 2 sisters Bonnie and Elaine. Everyone that met him, loved him and he will be dearly missed. As per Gary’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
