Frederick W. Staake

A memorial service  for Frederick (Rick) W. Staake, III, 76, Kissee Mills, MO, will be held at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel on Friday, July 24th at 4 p.m.   Pastor Randy Schreurs will officiate.

Frederick W.  Staake III was born May 18th, 1950, in Kansas City, KS,  to Frederick W. Staake II and Frieda Pauline (Lehl) Staake.  He died  June 26, 2026, at his home in Kissee Mills, Mo.

He spent much of his life in the Kansas City area before moving to Kissee Mills two decades ago to retire and care for his mother.

 Rick was an avid outdoorsman who loved canoeing, camping, and enjoying the Ozarks whenever he had the chance to escape city life.

 He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Freida Staake and two sisters, Sheryl Cook and an infant sister.  

 Rick is survived by his niece, Rebecca Harrington and her family, including husband Sven Oliver and children Liam and Emily, all of Germany. He will also be missed by numerous friends.
