Eula Faye Phillips 87, of Forsyth, Missouri passed peacefully on May 3, 2026, at her home. She was born April 16,1939 in Rives, Missouri to Esley and Edith (Harlan) Mitchell.
Faye grew up in Rives, Missouri and in 1975 moved to Forsyth, Missouri which she made her home. She loved flea markets and worked as a cashier at Cadwell’s Flea Market, Branson. Faye attended the L.O.D.G.E Church in Taneyville, Missouri. Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren spending as much time with them as possible.
Faye was proceeded in death by her parents, brother Esley Vann Mitchell and sister Erma Snedeker.
Faye is survived by four sons, Phillip (Julie) Blackburn, Rockaway Beach, Mo., Jimmy (Terri) Blackburn, Jonesboro, Ark., Brent (Christy) Blackburn, Hornersville, MO., Chuck (Josie) Dietz, New Orleans, LA., three daughters Teresa (Todd) Brown, Taneyville, Mo., Cheree (David) Michel, Branson Mo., Michele (Jared) Layne, Fayetteville, Ark., two sisters Bonnie (Ed) Schanda, Forsyth, Mo,, Glenda Coleman, Hornersville, Mo., 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Faye’s celebration of life service will be May 9, 2026, at 12:30 pm at the L.O.D.G.E. Church, Taneyville, Mo. with Ashley Sullinger and Jan Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at the Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth, Mo.
Arrangements are under direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo. Visitation will be May 9, 2026, 11:00 am until service time, at the church.
