Services for Ellen May Miller, 80, Taneyville will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at 2PM Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Mo. Pastor Austin will officiate, with full Military rites. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel Forsyth, Mo.
Ellen was born July 20, 1943, in Richmond, Calif. She was the daughter of Raymond Ellis. Ellen married Darrell W. Miller and to this union they were blessed with three children. Ellen entered rest on Oct. 27, 2023, at the age of 80 years.
She served her country in the United States Army. Ellen and Darrell moved to Taneyville from the Scotts Airforce Base, Illinois, where she would be closer to her children. She attended the New Beginnings Church, Taneyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Vera Miller, a brother Raymond Ellis Jr. and a grandchild William Curtman.
Ellen is survived by two children, son John Miller and wife Carlene: daughter Polly Miller, and two grandchildren. She will also be missed by numerous friends.
