Elaine J. Sherrill

Elaine Jill Sherrill was born December 6, 1944 in Stockton California.  She entered into heaven on October 5, 2023 from Kirbyville, Missouri.  Elaine had attended college at the San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, Calif.  She was a Psychiatric Technologist at a State Hospital in California.  Elaine moved to the Tri-Lakes area to be closer to family. 

She attended the New Beginnings at Hollister and Church 3:16 in Forsyth.  Elaine enjoyed the outdoors, working in her garden, cooking and canning what she had grown, feeding her family with nutritious meals.  Elaine was a great witness for the Lord, to her family, grandchildren, friends and strangers.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harris and Jacqueline (Roberts) Johnson, daughter Susan Sherrill and brother Gary Johnson.

Elaine is survived by her daughter Julia Alley, son David Sherrill, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and numerous family and friends. 

A graveside service was held for her October 7, 2023 at the Kissee Mills Cemetery, Kissee Mills.
