Edna P. Tate, 87, of Branson, passed away at the home of her daughter Wednesday November 13, 2019, surrounded by family. She was born December 10, 1931 to John and Bessie Kinkade Hossler, in Drakesboro, Kentucky.
Edna was a member of the MSC Baptist Convention. She worked Civil Service positions with VA hospitals and clinics; the gift shop at Skaggs Hospital (Branson); and for Silver Dollar City in the White River Valley and Mutton Hollow sections.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jahala Tate; and brothers John and Paul Hossler.
She is survived by her daughters Jan Tate-Mudron and Cheryl Tate of Springfield, MO; sons Rick of Nashville, TN, Mark of Covina, CA, and Scott of Las Vegas NV; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Whelchel Grace Funeral Home on Friday November 15, 2019 from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM.
Burial will follow at Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth, MO.
