Graveside services for Donald H. Baker will be Friday, July 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO. Mr. Baker entered into rest on Saturday, July 8, 2023 in Branson. Pastor Gayle Cobb will officiate with full military rites being provided. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth.
Donald Harry Baker was born May 10, 1935 in Nectarine, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Harry and Margaret Edith (Campbell) Baker. After high school he served in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He lived in the Franklin, PA area where he worked for Chicago Pneumatic Tools, testing drills. Donald moved to the Branson area to enjoy his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling, metal detecting and traveling. He attended Ponce Pentecostal Church, Ponce de Leon, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Arlene, one daughter Diana, his siblings, Wallace, Joseph, Floyd, Vera and Wilda.
Donald is survived by his son, Clifford Baker of Branson, MO; two daughters, Kimberly Stafford (Dave) of Ottawa, IL and Donetta Moore (Bill) of Cocoa, FL; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, MO.
