Della K (Edwards) Fisher

Service information: Visitation will be held on Wed. Feb. 26 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the family residence, 9250 E. Hwy 76, Kirbyville. Graveside service will be held on Thur. Feb 27, at 1:00 PM at Edwards Cemetery, Kirbyville, MO. 

Della Katherine Edwards Fisher was born on February 2 1931 to Remus Ruby Edwards and Cora Ellen Persinger Edwards in Powersite Missouri. Della was called to her heavenly home on February 23, 2020. She gave her life to Jesus as a young girl and has been a blessing to the community. 

Della married the love of her life Rolla Rea Fisher on October 20, 1946. This union was blessed with nine children. Children and spouses include Kay and Delbert Scrivner of Mansfield, Missouri, Terry and Karen Fisher, Victor and Theresa Fisher, Steven and Paula Fisher, Sue and Allen Bilyeu, Patricia and Harold Cox, Pamala and Danny Priest, Robin and Veronica Fisher and Sandy and Brian Moore all of Taney County, 23 grand children and 23 great grand children.

Della retired after 30 years of service at Skaggs Community Hospital.  She shared her faith and love for life with everyone she met and was loved by all. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, serving people in her work and children of all ages.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rolla, parents, one brother Clifford, four sisters Reghima Hunter, Ruby Stiffler, Shirley Harris, Phyllis Dillard and son in-law Harold Cox.

She leaves behind her children, one brother Siah Edwards of Dodge City, Kansas and many friends and loved ones.
