Caroline West

Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth West, 73, of Kissee Mills, MO went to be with her Lord on November 19th, 2024. Passing at Cox South in Springfield, MO. Services will be held December 12, 2024, 1:00 PM at the Bridge of Faith Church, Rockaway Beach, Mo. Arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.

Caroline was brought into this world August 9, 1951, in Everett, Washington to Nels and Mary Jane (Whitehead) Anderson. After graduating high school she attended Ethel Franklins in Wichita, Kansas where she learned her craft as a beautician and barber. She met Billy "Jay" West Jr, her soon to be love forever by cutting his hair on his lunch breaks. The two were soon to be married on Valentines Day of 1985, spending 35 years together. Caroline and Jay worked together as a team from there on, be it football practice or selling water filters in the early 90's to selling insurance and running telemarketing call centers all over the country. Living in Frontenac, KS., Casper, WY., Dothan, AL., Marietta, OH., San Antonio, TX. finally ending up here in the Ozarks in 2005. All the while analyzing handwriting as she was also an eternal member of International Graphoanalysis Society. 

Caroline and Jay were quite active in the community from the Master Gardner Program to Stonecroft Women’s Ministry. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Houston, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Jay West, son Eric Wayne West of Wichita; three brothers Norman, Albert, and Larry Anderson.

Caroline is survived by two sons Billy Jay "BJ" West III wife Jennifer West of McCook Nebraska, and Christopher Sandker of Kissee Mills, Missouri, two grandchildren Ashlyn and Mason West, nephew John Anderson and niece Melissa Martinez of Wichita, KS.
