Carole Anne Heseman

Carole Anne Heseman, 78, of Taneyville died in the Lord Saturday September 21, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 19, 1941 in Sherman, TX, the daughter of Clifford Ronald and Doris Jayne (May) Johnson.  Carole married the love of her life, Gordon Walter Heseman June 13, 1964 in Friestatt, MO.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Ronald.  She is survived by her husband Gordon “Doc” Heseman; sons Walter Christian and Gordon Patrick; daughter Christine Anne; grandchildren Lauren, Emma, Amalia, Samuel, Katherine, Holly, Joy, and Nicole “Nicki”; nieces Arra Johnson Brewer and Sara Johnson Rainey; cousin Betty Jean Higuera; and special friends Will and Mary Jo Cone.

Carole was a life-long partner, loving mother, teacher, mentor and remarkable friend. She collected and shared a large library and loved watching black and white movies.  She was dedicated to the diverse activities of her entire family, especially of those of her eight growing grandchildren.  Carole remained steadfast to her faith until the end.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to CAM (Christian Action Ministries), College of the Ozarks, or Lutheran Family & Children Services.  These were near and dear to Carole’s heart.

Funeral services will be held Thursday September 26, 2019 at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church at 10 AM, with Pastor Mickey Wilkey officiating.  A private, family burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
