Carl Dalton

Carl Dalton, 89, of Taneyville, Missouri.

Carl R. Dalton passed away in his home on Friday June 11, 2021, in Taneyville, Missouri.  Carl was born in Taneyville on September 8, 1931, to Rachel Dalton (Bledsoe) and Dolphus Dalton.  He was an only child and grew to have five children of his own:  Frank Hirahara, Jesse Hirahara, Jan Hirahara, Danny Dalton, and Diana Robertson (Dalton).

Carl was an independent trucker and logger for the majority of his life.  He retired in 1996 to his home in Taneyville where he took care of his mother Rachel Dalton.  Carl had eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.  Carl was a wonderful father and grandfather who would do anything for his family and friends.  He enjoyed rabbit and deer hunting along with the occasional fishing trip.  He enjoyed the last few years of his life watching westerns and telling stories to his beloved family.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents Rachel and Dolphus; daughter Diana; and son Danny.
