Billy Jay West

Billy “Jay” West Jr., 65 of Kissee Mills, MO.  

Billy “Jay” West passed away on January 6, 2020, at Cox Medical Center in Branson, MO. He was born September 28, 1954, in Wichita, KS.  Jay married Caroline Anderson Sandker, February 14, 1985.  Jay spent his career working in business management.  His hobbies included wood working and gardening.  Jay was an avid Kansas City Chiefs football fan. 

Jay moved to Taney County, MO in 2005. He was an active member of Bridge of Faith Community Church in Rockaway Beach, MO.  As Jay was a Master Gardener, he helped start the church greenhouse and garden and volunteered at the church’s Thrift Store.  

Jay was preceded in death by his parents; Bill and Dixie West, and son, Eric Wayne West.  

Survivors include his wife Caroline of the home; sons, Billy Jay West 3rd. and wife Jennifer of McCook, NE., and Christopher Neal Sandker of Lancing, MI.; grandchildren Mason West and Ashlyn West; and brother Jeff West of Fayetteville, AR. 

A memorial service will be held at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home on Fri. Jan. 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
