Bessie (Coker) Gideon

Bessie, the daughter of Jess Coker and Nellie Pierce Coker was born April 17, 1941 at Protem, MO., and passed away at the family home in Protem, on June 5th.

Bessie married Robert Gideon on February 4, 1992.  Robert passed away on April 10, 2020.  Bessie is survived by 2 sons, Bobby Holt and Chance Gideon (wife Betty); three stepchildren, Dianna and husband Marvin, James and wife Michelle, and Kathy; one granddaughter Myra; and sister Mary May Coker.  Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Bessie had been a Christian for many years and attended the Full Gospel Church at Oldfield.

Funeral services will be Monday June 8, 2020 at 10 AM at the Protem Community Church, with burial to follow in the Protem Cemetery.
